Coastal Keys Seattle plants 25 Trees for each home sold.  We are proud to announce our recent partnering with Seawolf Coastal Protection in Marysville, Washington on a reforestation plan iniative.  Over the last four years, Coastal Keys Seattle, in conjunction with Seawolf Coastal Protection have planted nearly 8,000 trees!

• While the primary goal of the tree planting program is to reduce global carbon emissions, leading improvements in the quality of life for the local population in more ways than freshening the air. 
• Trees remove nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, ozone, carbon monoxide, and small particulates from the air.  Carbon dioxide, a major greenhouse gas, is considered to be a prime contributor to global warming.  
• Trees breathe it in, use the carbon to build mass, then exhale oxygen.  Half of a tree's dry weight is made up of carbon.
• On balance, they retain more carbon than they lose.  So every tree planted helps reduce your carbon footprint on the planet. 
• The average American produces about 7 ½ tons of carbon dioxide in annual fuel and electrical use.  Planting a tree manufactures 5 pounds of pure oxygen per day; collects pollutants from the air; reduces noise pollution; produce homes for birds and small animals; enriches surrounding soil and prevents soil erosion.
